The Arizona Winter League is looking for clubhouse managers and baseball operations interns! Interns will experience and learn what it takes to operate a clubhouse for an entire month during the AWL season. The AWL takes place at Desert Sun Stadium, which is a former Major League facility and served as the spring training home of the San Diego Padres. The AWL runs from January 30, 2012 to March 1^st, 2012

Job Description:

Interns will manage the former Major League clubhouses for the AWL and assist with general AWL clubhouse duties. The responsibilities of the interns include but are NOT limited to the following and are subject to change based on league needs: 

·         Provide clubhouse services to players

·         Score live AWL games and update stats using Pointstreak

·         Launder uniforms, pants, towels, etc.

·         Manager equipment room

·         Work with AWL General Manager on Baseball Operations and Game Day activities

Job Requirements:

·         Current student (undergraduate or graduate)

·         Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal communication skills

.         General knowledge of how to score a baseball game

·         Outgoing and self-motivating personality

·         Reliable and the ability to follow instructions

Rate of Pay:

College credit available
